Together, we discover and processes market information into actionable insights enabling our stakeholders to make better and faster decisions to effectively implement Vestas corporate strategy; we provide new perspectives and facilitates organizational learning to support the organization identify opportunities and threats and emerging themes of strategic relevance; and we secure alignment and synergies across the organization by facilitating information and best practice sharing, by co-developing insights and by centralizing procurement of external information

Responsibilities

As a student assistant you will be working with a number of mainly recurring intelligence tasks that make up the backbone of the value we deliver as a department. This includes our: 

• Industry order tracking database and recurring analysis 
• Auction calendar and outcome analysis
• Levelized-cost-of-energy (LCOE) tracker 
• Sustainability benchmark 
• Competitor fact books 
• General monitoring of competitors and the space we operate in 
• Ad hoc requests / deep dives 

The work is generally flexible/plannable, involves a high degree of collaboration with our regional and functional colleagues and comes with high levels of exposure as deliverables reach widely across the organization incl. executive management 

Qualifications 

• You are likely about to embark on the last year of your bachelor's or the first of your master's degree with a commercial orientation 
• Demonstratable consistent academic achievements 
• Solid skills in Excel and Power Point are required 
• Professional level English. Working knowledge of either German, Spanish, Mandarin or Scandinavian language(s) would be a plus

Competencies 

• Enthusiastic team-oriented person with good numerical skills, diligence and attention to detail 
• Interest in wind and the broader renewables/energy sector 
• General academic curiosity

What we offer 

Circa 20 hours per week with a chance to work in a small Corporate Strategy setup with high impact across the business and day-to-day exposure to senior management in a C25 company. Potential for a longer-term career with Vestas. Starting date either in June or 1. September.
