Role & Responsibilities:

During your 2-year apprenticeship program, you will rotate in job assignments within the finance department and gain hands-on experience in the world of finance. You will learn the ins and outs of accounting, invoicing, financial reporting and performing financial analysis and bank reconciliations. You will be part of an experienced finance team and have a dedicated mentor guiding you in how to work with international projects and tackle financial challenges and opportunities ahead. Furthermore, you will be matched with a buddy – helping you navigate your new role, share insights, and be your go-to sparring partner on both personal and professional development.

This apprenticeship program is designed to prepare you for a successful future in finance and kickstart your career with an international mindset and experience in working with colleagues in US, Singapore, Australia, Poland, Denmark providing a global perspective and invaluable insights into international operations.

What you will learn:

•  Handling supplier invoices including recording and payment propositions
• Handling incoming payments
• Performing bank reconciliations and exchange rate conversions
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month-end closing procedures
• Financial analysis and assisting with reporting to the organization
• Gain valuable commercial insights through data, including use of Power BI
• Get experience with light controlling assignments
• Cross collaboration with other functions and departments

What We’re Looking For: 

To thrive in this role, we expect you to be comfortable communicating both in written and verbal English, as you will work with colleagues and stakeholders from around the globe.

Furthermore, we expect that you are:

• Located in Denmark and have completed either EUX, HHX, STX, HF, or HTX.
• Ready to be part of an international team in Aarhus.
• Curious and eager to learn and have an ambition of developing within Frey
• Interested in finance and workflows and excited about working with numbers
• Have a structured approach and comfortable using IT systems and excel
• A team player who thrives in collaboration with others

As a Finance Trainee, prior experience in finance is not required – we’re here to train you! The most important thing is your interest and motivation to learn.
